Fine Art Giclée Printing
Giclée printing: the quality of the original image at a fraction of the cost.
If you’ve been browsing the net for fine art prints, you’ve probably come across this strange little word before: Giclée.
For those of you who enjoy techy stuff, it’s a way of describing a fine art digital printing process which combines pigment-based inks with top-quality archival paper. I use genuine Canon Lucia Ex inks and print onto a selection of Hahnemuhle and Fotospeed fine art papers.
For those of you who don’t…it just means that when you use this method of printing an image, the lines will be sharper, the colours brighter and the overall result will be more beautiful than with other printing methods.
For artists, illustrators and photographers, you already know that Giclée printing is the ideal way to make your art available to even more people, without compromising on the quality of the original.
