You’ve finally found the perfect print or taken a photo you’d be proud to display on your wall.
Or you’re an artist or photographer and you’ve managed to secure an exhibition space!
Framing should be the easy bit, right?
In my experience, it isn’t.
As a photographer myself, I always found trying to source the right frame for my pictures to be an impossible task. If I could find the right size frame, the colour wasn’t right. If the colour was perfect, the mount was all wrong. And if you’ve spent a while looking into custom picture framing you’ll know that it isn’t always an affordable option, particularly when you have a high volume of prints to frame.
After taking the time to find the perfect shot, I didn’t want to let it down by settling for an “it’ll do” frame.
With so many pictures to print, mount and frame, I figured the most cost-effective solution was to learn to do it myself. So I did!
Now I’m chuffed to bits that I’m able to make beautiful art and photography accessible to so many others. And that I can provide top-quality printing, mounting and framing without the eye-watering price tag.
Where to find me/How to order
My printing and framing studio is based in Aberdeen but I work with individuals, artists and photographers from around the UK. If you’re local, you’re welcome to make an appointment to visit me in my workshop where you can see how I work and we can chat about your particular project.
If you have more complex requirements and you’d prefer a face-to-face chat but Aberdeen is a bit of a jaunt for you, get in touch and we can arrange a Zoom conference. Sometimes seeing a picture or frame via a video link makes all the difference.
