Textile & 3D Framing
From an exhibition of vintage clothing to your baby’s first blanket or your favourite cross stitch, we’ll take care of your precious fabrics.
How it works: Textile Framing
Textiles and needlework come in a huge variety of forms — from simple cross stitches, needlepoint, crewel work and silk prints to more complex textiles like embroidery incorporating embellishments like beads and ribbons — and each will require different types of framing.
We’ll happily work with you to choose the best option for your textiles to ensure your treasured work is both beautifully displayed and protected.
Whatever you choose, know that we never use adhesives. Your item will be stitched, laced, and supported using methods that can be removed without harming the original work.

How it works: 3D Framing
We’ll happily frame any kind of memorabilia, whether it’s a single item for your living room wall, or multiple objects as part of a museum exhibition.
We provide box framing that offers complete protection. In most cases, we’ll support your item internally using conservation-quality board or foam board before stitching it into place. We can also include multiple items in a single frame, such as medals, rosettes, photographs, or captions.
As with our textile framing, we don’t use adhesives so your item can be removed from its framing without causing any damage.

Make an appointment now to discover the best framing options for your fabrics, artefacts, and 3D artwork.
If you’re planning a larger exhibition, please call us on 07840 193784 or email Iain at iain@iainglennieframing.com to check our availability.
